Ranking Slipknot albums from worst to best

3. All Hope is Gone

My number three spot is going to All Hope is Gone, because that was one of the first metal albums I’d heard. It was really heavy, and it opened up a whole new world to me because the only music I knew before Slipknot was rap, pop, and radio rock. So, when I heard the song Left Behind, it got me pumped, I loved it!

You can hear the emotion behind Corey Taylor’s voice even and, even though it’s not “Slipknot heavy” it is still emotional. It has so many great riffs and amazing drumming provided by Joey Jordison. This album has so many great songs like Snuff, Dead Memories, Gematria, All Hope Is Gone, and Sulfur. It’s an all-around great album. The fact that they had all of those great songs on one album I just thought it was one of the best musical projects ever put together.
