1. Slipknot (Self-titled)

My number one favorite Slipknot album is going to be their Self-Titled release. It’s got that raw, heavy sound but, it also has some slower points. It has some rap style verses, and rap and metal are my two favorite genres. I just love the emotion, rawness, and the way the tracklist is laid out. This album was associated with some of my best memories from childhood, work, and school. While listening to this album, I found out that I really wanted to start writing music; I fell in love with it and it drove me to write my own music and work on writing a book.
